At NUH, we care for the health and well-being of our patients. We are reaching out to remind you about the importance of regular mammogram screenings to detect breast cancer early.
Why Is It Important?
- Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in Singapore.
- Early detection can significantly improve cancer treatment outcomes and save lives.
- A mammogram is a special type of X-ray that can detect changes in the breast at the preliminary stages of breast cancer, even before a lump develops.
Subsidised Mammogram Screening
You are eligible for subsidised mammogram screening under the Screen for Life (SFL) national breast cancer screening programme. (For more information, please visit the SFL website here)
For those who have signed up for the Healthier SG programme, the mammogram screening will be fully subsidised.
