At NUH, we care for the health and well-being of our patients. We are reaching out to remind you about the importance of regular mammogram screenings to detect breast cancer early.

Why Is It Important?

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in Singapore.
Early detection can significantly improve cancer treatment outcomes and save lives.
A mammogram is a special type of X-ray that can detect changes in the breast at the preliminary stages of breast cancer, even before a lump develops.

Subsidised Mammogram Screening

You are eligible for subsidised mammogram screening under the Screen for Life (SFL) national breast cancer screening programme. (For more information, please visit the SFL website here)

For those who have signed up for the Healthier SG programme, the mammogram screening will be fully subsidised.

Schedule Your Mammogram Now Through Your Personal Health Concierge!

We understand that scheduling healthcare appointments can be challenging. To encourage you to undergo screening, we are pleased to offer a personal health concierge service, which will be available from 16 September 2024 to 15 November 2024, to assist you in scheduling your mammogram appointment before 31 December 2024.

Please call 6772 7499 (Mondays to Fridays, 9am to 5pm), to speak with our friendly concierge staff. Your personal health concierge will guide you through the appointment process, answer any questions you may have about the mammogram, and work with you to find a convenient time for your appointment.

Your Participation Matters

This screening initiative is part of a research study by National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS), a national specialist centre at NUH to improve participation in the national breast screening programme.
