Breast cancer is the most common cancer among Singaporean women in the last 50 years and the leading cause of cancer deaths among women. According to the Singapore Cancer Registry, there were nearly six newly diagnosed cases and one death occurring every day in 2013-2017, and the risk of developing breast cancer has increased sharply over the years, mainly affecting elderly women aged 60-79 years.
Every October marks the Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM), a national campaign to raise awareness for this cause. Come and join us at our events from wherever you are!
