The CancerLine is a dedicated phone service for the National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS) patients to seek advice from NCIS trained Oncology nurses if they have symptoms or side effects related to treatment.
Please call the other designated hotlines for all other enquiries to avoid a long wait and to have a directed service.
Important Information:
- This service is not for emergency – please visit the nearest hospital or call 995 for an emergency.
- This service is not meant to replace a medical consultation by a certified medical practitioner.
- Callers will need to provide the patients' identification number for a more directed advice.
- The accuracy of advice given depends on inputs by callers.
- For concerns not addressed by this service, seeking prompt consultation with a certified medical practitioner is highly recommended.
- Missed calls made during operating hours will be returned on the same day.
- Callers will be asked for a handphone number, as NCIS may seek their participation in an experience survey after using this service.
