Dr David Chia graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, National University of Singapore (MBBS) in 2003. In the course of his medical training, he was awarded a place on the Dean's List for outstanding performance in medical school. He went on undertake specialist training in Radiation Oncology under the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists, and was the first Singaporean ever to be awarded the prestigious C.E. Eddy Medal for being the most outstanding candidate in the FRANZCR Phase 1 Examinations. He completed his Advanced Specialist Training in Radiation Oncology at the National University Hospital and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR).
Dr Chia also holds Visiting Consultant positions at Tan Tock Seng Hospital and at the National Neuroscience Institute of Singapore.
