Dr Ai Peng Tan is a Senior Consultant
Neuroradiologist at the Department of Diagnostic Imaging, National University
Hospital and National University Cancer Institute Singapore (NCIS). She also holds the appointment of Assistant
Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of
Singapore since 2016.
She obtained her medical degree
in 2006 from Malaysia, with various awards for academic excellence and
completed her post graduate neuroradiology training at National University
Hospital, Singapore. She obtained her Master of Medicine (Diagnostic Radiology)
in 2012 and was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists
(FRCR) in the same year. She was awarded the Academic Medicine Development
Award (AMDA) in 2016 and completed her fellowship in paediatric neuroradiology
at the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, NHS Foundation Trust in 2017.
Her subspeciality interest is
in the field of paediatric neuroradiology, with special interest in
neurometabolic disorders, neonatal imaging, radiogenomics and congenital
craniofacial malformations. She has numerous publications and invited review
papers in peer-reviewed international journals in the field of paediatric
neuroradiology. She is also actively involved in multiple collaborative
research studies and leading international conferences. She has also given
multiple invited talks at local and international conferences in her areas of
expertise.
