Dr Ivy
Ng graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National
University of Singapore (NUS) in 2010. She obtained her
post-graduate qualification from the Royal College of Physicians (UK) and her
Masters of Medicine (Internal Medicine) from NUS before embarking on her
specialist training with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of
Radiologists (RANZCR) in Radiation Oncology. As part of her training, she spent
3 months at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne, Australia.
During her
training, she served as the Chief Resident and was a member of the RANZCR
Radiation Oncology Trainees Committee (ROTC) and Research Committee.
She also has keen interest
in teaching and was awarded the National Healthcare Group (NHG)
Outstanding Teaching Award as a house officer in 2011. She now contributes to
undergraduate teaching as a tutor for the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and the Singapore Institute of Technology.
Dr Ng is currently the director of training for the RANZCR Radiation Oncology training programme and the deputy director of education in the Department of Radiation Oncology at NCIS.
