Life has thrown 63-year-old Helen Wong a fair amount of lemons - a mother to three kids, she was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a rare type of blood cancer. Just as she embarked on her journey to recovery, she lost both her mother and husband to cancer shortly after. All these tribulations would probably have been enough to break any other person in the same situation; but through sheer grit and positivity, Helen managed to make lemonade out of her lemons.

Like most people, 65 years old (or as he would prefer, 65 years young) Charles Wu grew up expecting to lead a regular life – graduate from school, get a decent job, get married to the girl of his dreams and live happily ever after with his family. In 2010, Gim Beng was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. Upon her doctor's recommendation to undergo the BRCA test, Gim Beng tested positive for the BRCA gene mutation. As she continues with treatment, Gim Beng remains positive and advocates the importance of BRCA gene testing.

Despite his strict fitness regime and healthy diet, Arun, a Physical Education teacher and Physical Trainer found himself diagnosed with Stage 3 Colorectal Cancer. Not one to be easily defeated, Arun beat the odds and triumphed over the cancer, while staying fit & fab.
